Our Christmas

This was our 3rd Christmas in our new house and it is beginning to feel like we have some little traditions of our own. It's great being home on Christmas Eve so we can get ready for Santa, sleep in our own beds, and wake up Christmas morning for all the fun. We got back from G/G Hewitt's, got in our Christmas PJ's and got cookies on a plate for Santa and some carrots for the reindeer. We also had grinch dust that the kids made at the Lawton Santa's House so we sprinkled that out on the front porch. Then it was time for a movie sitting in the new bean bags and covered with new tie blankets from Grandma Kayan.  The kids slept great and Santa made it to our house! Hudson was the first one up, followed by Hayley - poor Hazel was not feeling the greatest and slept through some of the gift opening but thankfully she perked up for our trip to Ida Grove. The hit gifts this year from Santa were Minnie Mouse and Spiderman things for the kids' new rooms that will be downstairs - since we are currently finishing the basement. We enjoyed egg casserole, cinnamon rolls, and coffee and hot chocolate using my new Keurig! We enjoyed the morning playing with the kids' new toys, listening to music, and relaxing. Then we were off to Ida Grove for the afternoon with the Kallin side.

Merry Christmas 2015!
