Hayley has been going to Brenda Thelen's house since she was just 8 weeks old and Hudson 7 weeks old. It has been so nice to have her close to our home on 32nd Street and even living on 24th Street. I have always felt very secure knowing the kids were being watched in a safe and happy home vs. a crowded daycare center. We have enjoyed photos from Brenda over the years and also her art projects including Christmas ornaments, painted pumpkins, etc. I am thankful that we found her and appreciate all the love and care she has given to Hayley and Hudson. We hope to keep in touch and see Brenda at the Art Center as she does classes there every Sunday afternoon for kids - we have never been- but plan to work this into our schedule since the kids are getting older and may enjoy doing that.
Since we are officially residents of Lawton, IA, Josh and I decided to find an in-home sitter in Lawton and not have the kids travel with us to Sioux City each day- I'd rather have them safe in town than on the highway every single day; especially during the bad Winter months. We will be going to Lisa Kron's house starting on Monday. The two little kids that live across the street from us now also go there so I'm anxious for the kids to become close friends:)
