Moving Day: October 9, 2013

Today we officially close on our brand new home and become residents of Lawton, IA! Wow - what a journey it has been. We began this process last March; broke ground in June; and are officially moving tonight. It has been a very rewarding experience to have the opportunity to build our own home choosing everything from the layout, siding, and stone to the handles on the kitchen cabinets and the paint colors - I am proud of how Josh and I worked so well together on making decisions; compromising when needed; and making this an enjoyable experience. Josh has worked so hard to give us our family home and I cannot wait to begin making many family memories here. We have been truly blessed in life with each other, sweet babies, great jobs, and now a beautiful home to enjoy our family in :) God is good!

A Family is a Little World Created by Love

I started this blog in March 2010 to document all that is happening in our lives. Josh and I were married September 12, 2009. We found out we were expecting our first child in October 2009 and were blessed with our daughter, Hayley Ann, on June 4, 2010. We found out we were expecting our second child in March 2011 and were blessed with our son, Hudson James, on December 4, 2011. We shared the news about Baby #3 in March 2013 and welcomed Hazel Kathleen to our family on November 25, 2013! Baby #4 was announced in May 2015 and Harper Louise joined our family January 17, 2016. I hope that the books created from this blog will serve as a special way to look back over the years when Josh and I are older and to pass on to the kids to give them a glimpse into their childhood and all of the fun times we shared!

HAYLEY ANN: 1st Grade (6). Spunky. Fun. Sweet. Best Big Sister! Rainbows and Minnie Mouse are favorites.

HUDSON JAMES: (5). Sweet Boy. Trucks. Loves Sisters. "I Need You". Snuggle Bug. All boy. :) Spiderman and Ninja Turtles are favorites.

HAZEL KATHLEEN: (3). Growing. Growling. Beautiful Hair. Sweet baby girl. Staying healthy! Not quite talking but oh so sweet. "Yea" is the answer. Great hugger :)

HARPER LOUISE: (10 Months). Great Sleeper. Good Eater. Snuggles. Baby Soft Skin. So Much Love. Happy and Content - 4 teeth in; crawling all over and wanting to walk!
