My best friend, Leslee, and I met in Des Moines for a Girls Weekend on Saturday! We shopped all day but did take a break for pedicures and dinner at Outback. We found lots of cute baby clothes as well as a few things for the house - So nice to catch up and enjoy some time to ourselves without the kiddos (and husbands) needing our attention. Leslee is due with Baby C #2 in March - The picture below is Leslee at 17 weeks and me at 32! This time around we decided to spend the night which was nice - it's almost a 3 hour drive for each of us beings we live at opposite sides of the state. Sure wish we lived closer but glad that we have continued our tradition of getting together once or twice a year; plus lots of email chat!
