Josh turned 24 on August 23rd! I surprised him with new Cowboys jerseys for both of us.. Hayley even has a little outfit! I also gave him tickets for us to go to the Cowboys vs. Vikings game in October in Minneapolis. We are both so excited to go!
Hayley had her first swimming experience last weekend. I thought I would see how she liked the water and she loved it.. we were in the pool for only about 10 minutes because it made me a little nervous but she loved the water. We have figured out this summer that she likes the heat. Anytime she is fussy and we walk out into this horrible hot & humid weather she completely relaxes and looks all around. Not sure what our solution will be this winter!
Last night Jill and I and Hayley drove to Alta for Katie's first volleyball game! It was fun to surprise Katie and see her play. We are hoping to be at many of her events this year since this is her last year! So hard to believe. Hayley seemed to enjoy the game too :)
Next up for us: Anniversary! We will celebrate our 1 year anniversary on September 12th! We are going to Sioux Falls for a little getaway and staying overnight. We are planning to visit a winery and go to dinner... the rest is yet to be decided! I'm definitely up for some shopping but it might take a little convincing Josh.
Also, our parents are both celebrating their 25th anniversaries on September 6th! So crazy; our parents were married on the EXACT same day. We have some fun things planned to celebrate with them as well.
