Tomorrow, August 4th, is a big day for our family! Hayley will officially be 2 months old and I will be going back to work! I have thorougly enjoyed having this time off to spend with Hayley and with our families. I now understand that being a mom is a full-time job in itself! The days have been busy but fun and it will be quite a change to be back at work and into our pre-baby routine :) I am hoping to find a good balance between work; grad school; and most imporantly: Family Time! It may take a little time to get settled but I know we will get into a good routine and both Josh and I working full-time will become normal for us. I am thankful for the flexibility of my job and am looking forward to seeing everyone at work. Hayley is going to do great at the babysitters and will be lucky enough to see me every day over my lunch hour :) I keep reminding myself that she is only a 5 minute drive from me and will be in very good hands.
I took her 2 month pictures this morning and got some good ones :) She has been awake and alert for much longer periods of time the last couple of weeks and is lifting her head when I have her on her tummy. She is getting stronger all the time! So hard to believe that she has been here with us for 2 months now!
Her 2 month check up was yesterday and she now weighs 8lbs. 15oz and is 22in. long. She got her first round of shots and did great!
