Birthdays are a big deal in our family. They always have been and will be. They are meant to be celebrated with those you love - it's what I've always known. We got together this year for mom's birthday at one of the most traditional places there is - Pizza Hut in Ida Grove! This is where we went for our birthdays most of the time growing up. We got to choose what kind of pizza to order and would then head home for cake, ice cream, and gifts with my grandparents and great aunt and uncle. We enjoyed mom's pizza party this year. Doesn't she look beautiful?! I love you so much mom.
