Hayley and Hudson's cold turned into RSV for little Hazel. She spiked a temp of 103 and had a bit of labored breathing Sunday, April 30th - We went to urgent care and after a positive RSV test were advised to stop in the ER. Josh and I decided that we would go to Sioux Falls in case she was admitted - because we like it there - and have been so impressed - plus her specialty doctors are there. We went together Sunday night and were admitted for observation. They advised us it usually got worse before it got better and they were right. Hazel needed some oxygen Sunday night and she and I ended up being there for 5 nights! She received an antibiotic for an ear infection, suction for her nose, and oxygen to get her lungs going at 100% again. It was a long and quiet week - she had a rough day Tuesday but handled things pretty well. We were grateful to be there and made it work thanks to our parents who took turns with Hayley and Hudson staying over. Hazel was much better by the end of the week. It's almost Spring... It's almost Spring... It's almost Spring.... :)
