Hazel's first birthday was so sweet - it brought back memories of when she was born and all that she has been through in her first short year of life. She is such a happy and content baby. She almost weighs 17 lbs; has one baby tooth on the bottom; is eating baby food and rice cereal; bottling up to 40 cc on occasion (thickened); and is getting better at managing yogurt bites and puffs as she learns to move her tongue better - she is doing some army crawling and lots of rolling! We are continuing AEA appointments for OT, Speech, and PT. She is progressing well and at her own little pace :)
We celebrated her first birthday with our family on Saturday, November 22nd - I did a "Pretty in Pink" theme and Grandma Kayan made a gorgeous cake! My two little party planners had fun helping to decorate and celebrate.
I was happy to have my Grandma Keane at both of the kids' birthday parties last month. I have sweet memories of Grandpa at these little parties and am glad that they have been able to enjoy our kids. I think she enjoys the outings - but I sure miss having Grandpa there with her.
