We enjoyed Christmas Eve with Papa Joe and Grandma Kayan. We all went to Christmas Eve Mass at 4:30 at St. Michael's Church. We came home to have crock pot soup and open a few gifts. The highlight of the night was Hayley finding the two little gifts she had gotten for Josh and running over to him -"These are for you, Dad." She did this in the middle of opening her gifts. She was so excited to give him a present and stood there with the sweetest expression as she watched him open 6 Reeses candy bars and some lottery tickets. - It made me cry for some reason. She was just so sweet and excited about giving it to him. :) It was also fun to watch the kids give Joe zip-up Superman PJ's - (from Grandma Kayan) - he's a big kid at heart! Another funny moment was Hayley telling Kayan that she just might get something from Santa because she is small too. Everyone was in bed by about 10:00 pm so that Santa could visit our house! Loved seeing Hazel all dressed up in the dress that Hayley wore for her first Christmas too :)
