It was so nice to have five days off with the kids over Christmas! Josh and I planned to have the same days off to enjoy the holiday and do few fun family things with the kids!
On Friday we had a family movie date with Hayley and Hudson. Grandpa and Grandma Kallin watched Hazel over at Grandma Keane's house and we headed down to the Promenade to see the Penguins of Madagascar! The kids each got their own little pop and popcorn and loved the movie - they did pretty well sitting through it all too! This was my first time taking them to the movie!! It was a good time - a little pricey compared to a Redbox movie and treats but a fun tradition for Christmas vacation and a good experience for them :)
Saturday was a lunch date at McDonalds (the kids' favorite place to eat at this point in time). We had burgers, fries, and a chocolate malt! Afterwards we met up with my family for bowling!! Hayley and Hudson both got a strike at one point - woo hoo!! I loved having Hudson come up to me and say "Mommy - I'm having fun!" - ha ha! Too cute. Bowling is pretty fun for the kiddos as long as we have bumpers and the slide to help get the ball rolling!
