April 9-12 I attended a YMCA Development Conference in San Antonio and was lucky enough to have Josh join me. It was a very much needed trip alone to talk and spend time enjoying each other's company without worrying about taking care of anyone except ourselves. We enjoyed eating at different places along the River Walk, shopping, and relaxing. This trip came at a time when some time away was really needed and I am so glad and thankful that Josh came along. Even though it was a delicate time in our relationship we found ourselves enjoying each other's company, laughing, and beginning to reconnect after a long stretch of busy work schedules, getting through Hazel's health difficulties, and lots of working overtime for Josh. A great trip for the most part. A fun and beautiful place to visit. Oh and the work conference was fine too :)
