Elfie arrived a few days after Thanksgiving - this is the spot where he first showed up! He left a present under the tree for Hayley, Hudson, and Hazel the first night he was here - Christmas pajamas, a book, and window clings!! Elfie was sure to watch over the kids and their behavior during the Christmas season - he made sure they ate their dinner and slept in their own beds (or tried at least). He moved all over the house showing up in a new spot each morning. Hayley was very aware and made sure each day when she woke up that he hadn't left yet but has just moved. When Santa came to our house Christmas Eve Elfie caught a ride back to the North Pole with Santa - Hayley's reaction on Christmas morning was actually sad because Elfie was gone - silly girl! I'm sure he will be back to spend the season with us next year!
