With our recent move to Lawton and many trips here before we officially moved we always looked at the pumpkin patch on our drive from Sioux City to Lawton and back - watching as more and more fun things were added and then the pumpkins were finally scattered all over the field! We finally were able to go on a Sunday afternoon in October. The kids had a good time checking things out. Crazy enough - we chose the one afternoon where they ran out of pumpkins! There were only yucky ones left by the time we grabbed a cart and headed out to pick our pumpkins - kind of disappointing but still a fun little afternoon. I ended up getting our pumpkins at the little stand on Hamilton and they were great - we painted the little ones and daddy helped carve the big ones... see next blog post :)
