No big family vacations for the Hewitt family this year - with both of us having new jobs; limited vacation time; an upcoming maternity leave to plan around; and a new house in the works we decided we would take advantage of Josh's time off and do a few fun things close to home. A few weeks ago we took advantage of one of Josh's long weekends and took a trip to visit the zoo in Sioux Falls as well as Falls Park - we also saw where Kim works and her new apartment! The kids enjoyed seeing all the animals and Hayley and I had fun at Falls Park while the boys napped in the park. A fun and busy day - hoping to get a few more small trips like this in as a family of four before baby #3 arrives in December!
