My last Power Lunch meeting for United Way was yesterday. I will never forget the first meeting I led when I was just out of college; 22years old; at the MidAmerican Energy building and I had about 25 ladies all looking to me for direction of this event! Thankfully I had Heather by my side and it turned out to be so easy- Planning the Power Lunch has been such a fun part of my job here at United Way. The committee surprised me with a cake, card, and bottle of wine for my last official meeting. I will definitely miss the role I play here but look forward to serving on the committee in the future!
