Happy Birthday Mom!!

Today the kids and I (Josh had to work) spent the day in Ida Grove with my family for mom's 58th birthday! We had lunch, opened gifts, talked about wedding plans with Jill, made a quick trip to the pharmacy for ice cream and vanilla cokes, went to 4:30 Mass, and ordered pizza! We were getting ready to head home when Hayley said she wanted to stay! I decided to let her stay and Hudson and I headed home to see Josh. G/G Hewitt will bring her home tomorrow.... Had a fun day celebrating .. Glad we all live close enough and make birthdays special! Love you mom!

A Family is a Little World Created by Love

I started this blog in March 2010 to document all that is happening in our lives. Josh and I were married September 12, 2009. We found out we were expecting our first child in October 2009 and were blessed with our daughter, Hayley Ann, on June 4, 2010. We found out we were expecting our second child in March 2011 and were blessed with our son, Hudson James, on December 4, 2011. We shared the news about Baby #3 in March 2013 and welcomed Hazel Kathleen to our family on November 25, 2013! Baby #4 was announced in May 2015 and Harper Louise joined our family January 17, 2016. I hope that the books created from this blog will serve as a special way to look back over the years when Josh and I are older and to pass on to the kids to give them a glimpse into their childhood and all of the fun times we shared!

HAYLEY ANN: 1st Grade (6). Spunky. Fun. Sweet. Best Big Sister! Rainbows and Minnie Mouse are favorites.

HUDSON JAMES: (5). Sweet Boy. Trucks. Loves Sisters. "I Need You". Snuggle Bug. All boy. :) Spiderman and Ninja Turtles are favorites.

HAZEL KATHLEEN: (3). Growing. Growling. Beautiful Hair. Sweet baby girl. Staying healthy! Not quite talking but oh so sweet. "Yea" is the answer. Great hugger :)

HARPER LOUISE: (10 Months). Great Sleeper. Good Eater. Snuggles. Baby Soft Skin. So Much Love. Happy and Content - 4 teeth in; crawling all over and wanting to walk!
