Three years ago today we ended our seven years of dating and began our married life together with our absolutely perfect wedding day!
It has been an amazing, fun, crazy, busy, and eye-opening three years to say the least. The two biggest highlights of the past three years:
We fixed up our first home together (3229 Court Street - the house I bought the day that Josh proposed) and sold it in July 2012 to move into something bigger for our family.
We currently live in our "Rental House" - a project that we took on shortly after Hayley was born. An investment/flip/rental house. Josh has put in so many hours of labor on this house and it is absolutely beautiful - although not in an ideal neighborhood, nor where we had planned to be living so we are very close to listing this house and hopefully finding the house of our dreams - a place that we will call home for many years to come.
What I have learned the past three years is that family is everything, life is going too fast, and it takes a lot of hard work to get to where you want to be in life. We have been working hard with my completion of my MSAS and all of the work on our homes.I admire my husband for his dedication to his family (driving an hour each way to work; plus working tirelessly on the houses that we have lived in so that we can benefit from each one; and taking care of our family), his love for Hayley and Hudson and his ability to still always make me laugh.
We have had a very busy marriage thus far - we are really looking forward to getting to a "settled" point that only involves work and family time as we both are realizing just how fast our babies are growing.
I love you Joshua James and look forward to all of the years to come with you. I admire you for all that you do for our family and thank God that you are mine.
Cheers to 3 Years!
