Picnic in the Park!

Tonight was a beautiful night and Josh suggested walking down to the park. We hadn't had dinner so I took it one step further and mentioned a PICNIC! We packed some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chips, granola bars, and fruit snacks and headed to Leif Erikson Park! Hayley was so cute helping to pack the (Easter) picnic basket. She was so excited! We had a little picnic on the grass and then let her play on the playground. I remember when she was so little in the swing and a little nervous - well tonight she loved it! I pushed her higher and higher and we high-fived each time she reached me. She is getting to be so big! She also had a great time on the slide (see picture below!). Hudson enjoyed the walk as well. We ended the night with a trip to the mall and chocolate malts from Chick-Fil-A. Miss Indepenent enjoyed her very own malt :) A fun night and some great pictures! Looking forward to a summer full of fun nights like these!
