Josh surprised me on Friday by planning a date night! Our first night alone since having Hudson. He arranged to get off work a little early and meet Kayan in Moville to take the kids for the night. He stopped by work around 3:15 so I could give them both a kiss goodbye. He surprised me with these flowers and then we went out to eat at Eldons, to the casino, and rented a movie for the night. It was so nice to have some time alone. Of course we missed the kids and mostly talked about them but the peace and quiet and time together was needed and appreciated. We slept in on Satuday, ran some errands and just enjoyed the time together. We met Joe & Kayan in Correctionville Saturday afternoon and it was so exciting to pick up Hayley and Hudson.. just being away that little bit made seeing them so much more fun! Saturday night we played and played! I am so thankful for Josh. He is such a good husband and dad and I was so touched that he took the time to plan a little something for the two of us. I didn't think we even realized how our lives have changed with the two kids until we were sitting at home without them there. What did we do before them? Ha! We had always said that even when things get crazy with kids that we would always take time for "us" so him doing this meant a lot. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
