This past weekend we went to Ames for ISU Family Weekend with Kim and Katie! We had a great trip - I'm so thankful for our family being close and enjoying our time together. Hayley was so cute knocking on Aunt Kim & Katie's doors. We got to see Katie's dorm for the first time and stopped at Kim's apartment. We had a yummy lunch at Kim's place, visited a pumpkin patch outside of Ames, stopped for frozen yogurt at an awesome new place called Orange Leaf, and went to dinner while we watched ISU play Texas on TV. Afterwards we swam at the pool in the hotel. Hayley had a fun day but was exhausted!
Sunday we did a little more swimming, went to church, and had lunch before heading home. It was the perfect fall weekend to visit ISU.. the campus was gorgeous with all of the fall colors. Josh stayed home and worked on the rental property we own... We were sad that he did not come along but he got a lot of work done and we love him for being such a hard worker! He was happy to see his girls when we got home and we were glad to see him too!
