We had a nice long Thanksgiving weekend, especially me as I took off Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday before Thanksgiving! My sister Kim came to our house Monday night of that week to spend the night and spend time with Hayley on Tuesday instead of Hayley going to daycare. I decided to go home Tuesday night with Kim and we went Katie's season opener basketball game! Wednesday, Kim, Hayley & I went and had lunch with mom at the elementary school where she works. We made pumpkin pies that afternoon and when Josh got off work we went over to his parents since Jeremy and Renee made it home!
Thanksgiving morning we went to church with my family at 9am; then dinner at noon; naps; and over to Josh's parents house for Thanksgiving/Ugly Christmas Sweater party for the rest of the night. The outfits were hysterical!
Friday morning we did our tradition of "Black Friday" shopping with some of Josh's family.. I even convinced my sister Kim to go along and judging by the amount of things she bought.. I think she had a good time!! That night, mom, Kim, and I went to another of Katie's basketball games.. it's great to be able to see her play since this is her last year! She is AWESOME!
Saturday we celebrated Kim's birthday with lunch at Red Robin and some shopping! She turned 20 on November 29th!
Sunday Josh worked on our rental property/flip house here in town and Hayley and I did some Christmas decorating.
It was a great weekend and definitely has me looking forward to my 11 day Christmas break that I have coming up!!
