Special Moment

Well.. I have only 2 more days of my 11 day vacation left! The one thing on my "To Do" list has been to get my blog updated and edited so I can order it online as a book and start with new updates for 2011! I'm still getting used to the fact that even though I have 100 things to get done... and lots of free time to do it... it is a challenge with my little Hayley at home too :) I have enjoyed having lots of extra time to spend with her but I do give a lot of credit to those moms who stay at home. It is a LOT of work to keep a little one happy and content all day! Hayley is working hard to break my habit of doing, doing, doing, and just learning to sit in the moment and enjoy!

I still have my blog updating on my To Do list... maybe by the end of the weekend but I wanted to jot down a special moment from my time home with Hayley this Christmas.

I have been working to keep Hayley engaged with her new books and toys and she is even getting close to sitting up on her own! We were laying on the floor and I decided I would read all her new little books to her. I held them above both of us and started to read... every few minutes while I was reading.... Hayley would roll to face me, give me a big smile, and reach out for my face... like she was sayng... "I love you being here with me, mom!"... It was SO SWEET!!! It made me feel so special inside -

I am going to dinner to celebrate New Year's with my Joshua while my sister comes to watch Hayley. Christmas pictures to come soon- and of course I have a little "Happy New Years" hat for my sweetie to pose in!
