Rice Cereal Experience!

I was told at Hayley's 4 month check-up that we could try giving her some rice cereal and see how she does. Once she gets the hang of it we can start to introduce other baby foods. I was excited to try it and see how she would react. I waited for Josh to get home from work so he could take part in the fun :) He is such a great, hands-on, dad so I wanted him to be able to help. It's funny how something so small can be such a big deal! We tried giving Hayley a few spoonfuls in between giving her the bottle. I don't think she cared too much for the taste or texture but she must have eaten a little. I have been trying a few bites here and there but don't want to get too ahead of myself.. after all, 4 months is still pretty young. Part of me is excited for all of the "new" things that mean she is getting older and part of me just wants to hold her and give her a bottle since before we know it she will be out of that stage. Josh and I both took part in her first "Rice Cereal Experience". Pictures below! She is very happy in the last picture once the
