COWBOYS Game in Minneapolis

For Josh's 24th Birthday I got him a Cowboys jersey and 2 tickets to the Cowboys vs. Vikings game. I also got myself a Cowboys jersey so he knew I was ready to go along! Ha Ha! We had a great time in Minneapolis despite traffic that we are definitely not used to! We did a little shopping at the Mall of America.. if I were shopping with anyone besides Josh it would have been a LOT of shopping but we kept it to a minimum. We ate at an awesome Mexican restaurant called Cantina and then went to the late comedy show. (top level of Mall of America)

Sunday we slept in; enjoyed the hotel's breakfast buffet and then made a stop at IKEA! I had been dying to go there for a while and was so excited to check it out! We ended up getting a couple of picture shelves and some lantern lights that we both liked. I think we'll save them and put them up in our next house since we are at capacity in this one! We headed to the game, parked 8 blocks away, did a little tailgating of our own (doesn't take much for me!) and got to the Dome. I bought our tickets on the internet and wasn't sure where they were so we got to the section and climbed to row 31 to find ourselves at the VERY TOP row! We both thought it was pretty funny but were surprised that we could see the plays and the ball pretty well. It was such an awesome experience! I think Josh wants to make an NFL game an annual thing... we even talked about a long weekend in Dallas next year to go to a Cowboys home game. After the game we walked by the Old Spaghetti Factory and and decided to stop there for dinner- delicious!

We had a great weekend together but were both excited to see Hayley when we got home. She got to stay with Grandma & Grandpa Hewitt in Battle Creek and I'm not sure who had more fun? Hayley or Grandma & Grandpa! We were sure glad that they watchd her for us! Thank you Grandma & Grandpa Hewitt!
